White Oak Ridge : Travelers Rest, SC

Ensconced in northern Greenville County at the intersection of Highways 25 and 276, Travelers Rest sits at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains, yet is only minutes away from shopping and cultural events in downtown Greenville, approximately 45 minutes from Asheville, NC and only a few hours from Charleston or Myrtle Beach The area in and around Travelers Rest offers a unique variety of antique and specialty shops, restaurants, national and regional chain stores, churches, and leisure activities. White Oake Ridge is within 1/2 mile of the proposed "Tram-Trail". This multi-use trail would consist of a 10-foot wide asphalt strip on the bed of an abandoned rail line running from downtown downtown Travelers Rest to downtown Greenville.
